An Inner Circle For Those Living Outside Of The Box

How Unconventional Leader's can lead their lives, families and companies to extraordinary financial results and fulfilment by thinking and acting differently than their peers to scale up their cash-flow, valuation and profitability of their business and their personal net worth.

Make it stand out

People make decisions out of either desperation or inspiraiton. Few consistently create the lives, families, bodies, minds, business they want. In the conventional world, people are playing a game of follow the follower. I created a facilated group to maximize the potential

I call them the Outsiders.

What seems unconventional.

  • Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes, the ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.

Want to know how to run a group coaching program that's inspiring & prosperous?

First of all, this is a powerful endeavour to pursue because it more likely than not means you've done your fair share of 1-on-1 and want to build a group coaching program as a way to serve more people, make a greater impact and build off your one-on-one coaching experience. Not to mention leverage your time for greater financial yields while building a like-minded community.

Here we'll dig into uncovering the mechanics behind building a group coaching program that delivers results sooner, rather than later to bring you to financial profitability by proactively avoiding the common pitfalls others go through.

Here is a step-by-step process you can use to design your own six-figure group coaching business.

What is group coaching?

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world. In fact, it's the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead

You coach a group of individuals with similar desires and ambitions toward a specific and measurable outcome. You develop a structure and a coaching framework to assist individuals towards that to achieve results. The purpose of doing it in a group is synergy, where the whole is greater than the sum. Where 1+1 isn't 2, 1 & 1 is 11, your fostering a culture to leverage each other for growth.

What are the benefits of group coaching to your Clients?

  • Leverage each other's networks and resources

  • Diversity of experiences and insights

  • Accountability

Why start your own group coaching program?

  • Scale your business from working from the one to the many. Rather than working with a few clients, you'll be able to assist more individuals.

  • Systems and processes for scalability

  • Build and deliver what you're looking for to that standard

Simply put help more people, do more of what you enjoy, and grow your income. Remember money is a measurement of service. It's a win-win with a fair-exchange of value for the price. Clients get the benefits and your receive compensation to ensure you facilitate the attainment of their vision.

This is why it's important to be congruent and upfront with the results well. Otherwise, you'll be stressed out and unable to deliver on what you promise. ‌

When is the ideal time to start a group coaching program?

Once you've validated that your one-on-one coaching can achieve the results and standards you would expect, it's time to start brainstorming... I'm a big believer in: Trust & Validate. Follow your intuition and validate it with quantifiable results. Capitalism is beautiful because the consumer will let you know... They'll buy or they won't.

I started my first mastermind after half a dozen clients.

How to create a group coaching program that delivers results

To create a group coaching program, you'll be required to lay out the structure to develop the systems and processes of your program.

  • The number of group members you want to be enrolled

  • The pricing of packages,

How to structure a group coaching program

How do you structure your coaching program? First and foremost, your group coaching program should be about 3-5 months long with one or two group sessions a month. In between calls, you can create a group with Slack, Voxer, or Facebook where your group meets and you answer their questions.

But aside from these practicalities, you need to decide on the structure you’re going to walk people through. If you want to scale your group program, it can’t be a mishmash of different group calls because you’ll have to reinvent the program every time.

Fortunately, no matter your industry (whether you’re an energy healer or a confidence coach) your coaching is going to have some type of system. There will always be a pattern and understanding that pattern is key to scaling your offer.

Typically, people go through the exact same steps. Some people need more time to go through some steps, while others can move forward more quickly. But the steps remain the same.

If you’ve worked with a handful of coaching clients, you likely already know what your structure looks like.

This structure does the heavy lifting for you. And you get an 80/20 breakout; 80% of the work is done with your pre-existing content. 20% is the customization that helps people get that extra boost in their results.

How much to charge for your group coaching program

Your group coaching pricing can be tiered but keep it simple and straightforward.

  • Do a competitive analysis of what the industry is charging: $1,200 - $20,000

  • I recommend competing on value not price. Competing on price is often a race to the bottom of burnout and bankruptcy.

If you're starting out and want to validate the idea, you can utilize a lower price point strategy to gain traction and get a few testimonials and referrals. I don't recommend staying in this zone for too long, and clients can usually only handle a 10% increase so that way the pros and cons. This is why I don't recommend quitting your job until you have a sufficient buffer of savings and know your run rate (How much time you have before things hit the fan).

Knowing your numbers for your group coaching

Opportunity Cost

  • Calculate how much time to create and facilitate so you have a reference point to value your time and be as efficient and effective as possible

Delivery/ Overhead Cost

  • How much will it cost you to run this business and program?

Enrollment

  • How many people will you enroll?

  • High-ticket programs will be facilitated in a more intimate setting for 5-25 people.

Risks: What if no one buys your program?

"Fail fast, fail often and fail forward" - Silicon Valley Motto

  • If you went to a Michael Jordan basketball camp you thought had 10'000 people and only 10 people were there. I would personally be ready to receive the extra value from that level of intimacy.

  • The best way to Trust & Validate your ideas is to follow your intuition and then validate it so you know what parts don't or didn't work. You learn to shoot hoops, by shooting hoops.

  • You are more likely to regret what you didn't do than what you did. Don't you love meeting old people that don't care what people think? We just chuckle and think how cool and funny... Well I do.

The best days and times for group coaching calls?

This is going to depend on you and your lifestyle and if you have a job.

  • Ideally, you do this work full-time and your clients can do it during the work week.

  • Are your client full-time employees? Consider evenings around 6-8 PM

  • Lunchtime

  • I did an in-person mastermind at 6 am on Sunday mornings! (They were a group of high-performing entrepreneurs)

If you have international clients that may play a role alongside your own personal sleep and daily habits. For example, I like to work out at lunch, not in the morning or evening but I adjusted to do 5:30 am lake swims becuase my
